Camp and Summer Program update
While we continue to plan our summer Eco-Camps and hope that we may be able to enjoy time outdoors together this summer, we are closely monitoring developments in the stay at home recommendations. Please visit our website for current updates or contact us directly with any questions.

Meanwhile, our staff has been hard at work producing activity and preserve hiking guides, as well as bird and tree guides to keep your family engaged outdoors in our preserves or your own backyard! Please visit our Explore Outdoors webpage to learn more.

Camp and Summer Program update
With heavy hearts we are cancelling Lake Forest Open Lands’ 2020 summer Eco-Camps and the Conservation Explorers (ConEx) program. The Center for Conservation Leadership will operate in 2020 with a new format.

We simply cannot risk the health and safety of our campers, staff and surrounding community posed by COVID-19. Our camp parents and children have been patient, positive, hopeful and inspiring throughout this process. Our collective resilience and love for nature will carry us through these times.

While we hope to enjoy time outdoors together this summer, the Lake Forest Open Lands staff has been producing downloadable preserve hiking and virtual activity guides, as well as bird and tree guides to keep your family engaged outdoors in our preserves or your own backyard! Please visit Explore Outdoors to learn more.

We hope you will consider treating your 2020 camp tuition deposit as a charitable donation to Lake Forest Open Lands, to help defray camp expenses that we still must bear.  Alternatively, at your request, we will send you a refund.

Camp registration for MEMBERS only starts on January 1, 2020
