Lake Forest Open Lands has a number of signage kiosks throughout their trail system, some of which are in need of repair. I will be replacing the waterproofing and cedar roofing tiles at two locations in Lake Forest, one in Mellody Farm and one in Middlefork Farm. Each of the roofs are about a 5 foot by 5 foot square pyramid and are about a foot and a half tall at the peak. If the plywood sub-roof needs replacing on the kiosks, I will also be replacing this before installing the new waterproofing and shingles. I will also be replacing a park bench that is about 5 feet wide and is in an unusable condition next to the kiosks in Middlefork Savanna.

Hello! I'm Dimiter, a Life Scout in Lake Forest BSA Troop 46. My Eagle Scout project is replacing an old and unsafe bridge near the Swinging Bridge in the LFOLA Skokie River Valley nature preserve. The current bridge is frequently used by pedestrians and service vehicles and is rotting in multiple places. I aim to construct a longer-lasting and safer bridge directly to the right of it.
