Birding Hikes

Mondays | 7:30-9:00 a.m.

Now that the weather is getting cooler and you have been introduced to our beautiful preserves and the enormous diversity of birds that pass through our green corridor, we encourage you to walk our trails with your binoculars and view all that is out there through the winter months.

We are suspending our Bird Walks for the rest of the summer. Now that the weather is warm and you have been introduced to our beautiful preserves and the amazing birds that pass through our green corridor, we encourage you to walk them with your binoculars and view all that is out there at your leisure. We look forward to starting up again in the fall. Watch this webpage for further details.

Start your day with fresh air and bird songs! A different and experienced birder will guide us each week as we stroll through the preserves. Interested bird watchers of all ability levels are invited to join us on these special early morning hikes.

Bring your binoculars!

Join us this Saturday for our birding event The Big Sit at the George Beach Trail at Middlefork Farm Nature Preserve. Or, join us for a guided hike at Tuesday on the Trail, noon-1:00 p.m. through November 7!
