Open Lands offers environmental education programs designed to complement local school science curriculums through hands on, authentic learning experiences. These programs take place in our preserves and are led by Open Lands' education staff with assistance from trained volunteer naturalists.
At this time, Open Lands' school programs are limited to Lake Forest and Lake Bluff schools only. Class size is limited to 24 students per field trip, and classes are divided into smaller learning groups with a teaching ratio of one adult to five or six children, ensuring a quality experience for each student. |
