Open Lands Park

Given as a gift to Open Lands, Open Lands Park is located at the corner of Green Bay Road and Deerpath. Designed by landscape architect Douglass Hoerr and completed in 1990, this 1.5-acre property is a lovely in-town spot for relaxation.

Park Wins Award From Lake Forest Garden Club!

On October 23, 2003 Open Lands Park received a Lake Forest Garden Club Civic Award for contributing to the beautification of Lake Forest. In the awards ceremony which took place at Lake Forest City Hall, Garden Club President Crissy Cherry presented the award to Open Lands Board members Peggy Mullett and Jean Greene. Also accepting the award was Lee Perrin of Lee Perrin Landscaping, the firm that maintains the park for Open Lands.
