IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER

Have you heard the news?

Congress has approved the reinstatement of the IRA Charitable Rollover. This giving incentive provides an attractive way to donate to Lake Forest Open Lands using IRA funds -- all while avoiding the income taxes typically paid on IRA withdrawals.

Making a gift using IRA funds is simple to arrange and has a number of benefits:

  • Permits donors age 70 ½ and older to make a tax-free charitable gift of up to $100,000 directly from their IRAs
  • Applies to your 2010 tax return for gifts made through Jan. 31, 2011, and to your 2011 return for gifts made during the balance of 2011

Looking for a way to have a lasting impact on the future of Lake Forest Open Lands? Ask your tax advisor for more details on how the IRA Charitable Rollover may benefit you, your family and Lake Forest Open Lands.
