Nothing marks the transition into autumn as Lake Forest Open Lands’ signature Bagpipes & Bonfire event. This celebration of the harvest season features Scottish Highland athletes, fun activities for children of all ages and a delicious harvest picnic supper. The evening culminates with the spectacular parade of bagpipers on the Middlefork savanna and the lighting of the traditional bonfire at dusk. This year festivities will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2010 from 4 - 7:00 p.m.
