Open Lands is proud to recognize the
collaborative efforts of an array of conservation groups, civic
bodies and institutions of higher learning that have worked with us
to further our mission. These efforts include supplying seed from
our original prairie for the Chicago Botanic Garden's Millennium
Seed Bank Project, participating in the multi-organizational efforts
of Chicago Wilderness, working with ecologists and biologists at
local universities, and talking with private individuals and
corporations about conservation easements. Listed here are the
organizations we have worked with most consistently over the years.
The following are just a few of the many conservation organizations doing important
work. Even though we don't necessarily work closely with them,
we think it's important for you to know about them.
